Remove Pivot Table While Keeping the Data [Excel]

We have covered many topics in creating and managing Pivot Tables. We did not, however, deal with the deleting of them.

In the example below, we will present how to delete a Pivot Table but keep the data that we need.

Now, to remove the table but to keep the data, we must first copy the data. To do this, we will click anywhere on the table, go to the PivotTable Analyze tab and then choose Entire PivotTable >> Actions >> Select >> Entire PivotTable to secure that the entire table gets copied:

We will then go to the table, right-click on it and choose Copy, or we will click the combination of CTRL + C.

Next, we go to the desired cell, in our case cell F3, and we will choose to right-click on it and choose one of the pasting options:

All we need to do now is delete our original Pivot Table. To do this, we can select the entire table again, and then by clicking the Delete button on our keyboard.

If we want to clear the data (our field list) but keep the Pivot Table, we can select the data in our table, and then go to PivotTable Analyze >> Actions >> Clear >> Clear All:
